I don't know if it means something or not!

LOOKING FROM A DISTANCE

The way the tech landscape has changed and has been changing predicts only a sure possibility of an event and that is the disruption of the current technological architecture at place.

Internet used to be this “digital thing” in the past but now in 2020, Internet has it’s roots all over the offline world and hardly anything we do is not associated with the internet.

But there is a subtle change which I am going to talk about today and that is the rate of change of technological progression.

The acceleration of the advancement of internet 20 years ago was far less compared to the acceleration that we are seeing now with the increasing adoption of technologies like blockchain, augmented and virtual reality, web 3.0 and many more progressions and updates along the minor lines. It is becoming very difficult for the people not associated with tech to keep up with this pace even people in the industry find it hard to be updated.

WHAT IS NICHE?

Technological progression in the last 10 years has made it possible for people to dive deeper into niche topics and make it a world of their own, expanding on their vagueness and creativities.

Well what is specificity you may ask? Isn’t there a broad root element of this technology from where these vivid technologies branch from?

No there isn’t!

From a wide perspective you may classify the logic of programming to be universal in all these but then again we can take cognitive abilities of the human mind into picture along with many other factors such as hard sciences (physics, chemistry and mathematics), qualitative and quantitative aptitudes and many more, so it’s better for us not to travel that train of thought.

HUMAN INTERDEPENDABILITY AND INTERCATION

A lot of things we work on building focusses on being self sustainable, and with the advancement of individualism through the internet, it is now very much possible to become a one man army.

The structure that the institutions have casted upon us is now slowly being taken down, people now are not only less dependent on each other but are also more interactive with each other on specific matters of subject.

Internet has made it possible for people to join tribes which suits their individualism and serves their believes and ideals, looking from a window you can say that we are going back to those tribal believes but this time with more accessibilities.

DISRUPTION

Now there are two things people can do, either be a part of this shift or be an observer of this shift, I have spent a lot of time thinking this and let me finally say this

It is very disadvantageous now to not be associated with tech from any background whatsoever and there are still a lot of things non tech people can do to be associated with this disruptive shift. Everyday abstractions are being stacked one on top of other.

With this being said I would like to conclude my train of thoughts for this week, let’s exchange some more narratives next time.
